The schedule of stores in different parts of the country varies greatly. In large localities, department stores and large stores usually work from Monday to Friday from 9: 00-10: 00 to 17:00, on Thursday from 9: 00-10: 00 to 19: 00-20: 00, and on Saturday – from 9: 00-10: 00 to 15: 00-16: 00. Many supermarkets and large shopping complexes are open until late evening. Kiosks and small private shops also often work in the evenings and on weekends until 22: 00-23: 00.
In the summer, in the season of sales, discounts in stores reach 50-70%.

As a souvenir from Cuba, products and jewelry made of coral in combination with silver, Cuban rum, cigars, CDs with salsa melodies, local musical instruments, T-shirts and caps featuring Che Guevara, art fabrics, embroidery and lace, as well as items made of shell are being brought turtles, especially bracelets and hairpins (beware of fakes!).
Shops are open from 9.00 to 18.00 (some until 20.00) on weekdays, on Saturdays from 9.00 to 15.00 (some until 18.00). Supermarkets and shops in resort areas are usually open from 10.00 to 20.00. Most small shops have a separate mode of operation. Almost all shops close on a “siesta” in the area of noon.

Shops are open from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00 from Monday to Saturday. Large department stores – from 10.00 to 21.00 from Monday to Saturday without a break, supermarkets – from 9.00-10.00 to 20.00-21.00 without a break, from Monday to Saturday. From 13.00 to 16.00 – siesta. On Sundays and holidays (with the exception of specially agreed days) everything is closed. In summer, in tourist areas, shops are open until 22.00 (sometimes until 23.00) without days off.
