As a souvenir from Albania, you can bring a copy of one of the ancient works that are sold everywhere, as well as products of local artisans.
Bargaining is always and everywhere. In the markets and bazaars with a certain skill, you can bring down the price by 20-30%.

In recent years (since 2006), a large number of hotels and tourist complexes, both by local and foreign investors, have been restored and built in Albania. There are hotels of all categories in the country, where the level of service fully complies with European standards.
Prices for accommodation in hotels in Albania are slightly lower than in neighboring Montenegro.

In the central part of Baku, shops are open from 9.00 until late evening, on the periphery, as a rule, until 19.00-20.00.
The lowest prices are in markets and fairs. Local silk, ceramics and other handicraft goods can be bought in Sharg Bazary (a modern indoor market), as well as on the famous Torgovaya Street and in the “old city” in Baku. High-quality and inexpensive carpets can be found in the center of weaving carpets in the suburb of Baku – Nardaran.
Everywhere, especially in private shops and markets, you should bargain – with a certain ability to knock the price down twice as easily.

Typically, shops are open from 8:00 to 18:30, and some of them can be closed at lunch time for 1-2 hours. On Saturdays, shops are usually open until lunchtime, on Sundays and during national holidays they are closed. At resorts and tourist centers, shops can work until 21:00, and station buildings – until 23: 00. Tobacco products are sold only in special licensed kiosks or in vending machines.
When shopping for an amount over 75 EUR, you can return the VAT (about 13%). Tax refund is made at the airport in the presence of a check. VAT refund is carried out either in cash directly at customs, or in the form of a check or bank transfer.
